Set up custom dimensions for raw data export
Google Analytics data export API does not support exporting visitor IDs and hit timestamps. To export these data, additional custom dimensions are needed to track such data for exporting purposes.
The table below shows the custom dimensions needed for SkyGlue raw data export.
| Custom dimension name | Scope | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Hit timestamp | Hit | Track timestamps of hits (including pageviews and events) |
| Session Id | Session | Track session Ids |
| Google Analytics Client Id | User | Track Google Analytics client IDs. Also used as SkyGlue Client ID |
| Registered visitor Id (Optional) |
User | Track registered visitor IDs |
You can use any custom dimensions available to store the above attributes. The details for setting up custom dimensions in Google Analytics is here. After setting up the custom dimensions, please email the indexes of the custom dimensions to support@skyglue.com along with your account login name. If you need help, please contact us at support@skyglue.com.
